into Britain and addresses issues such as housing employment, employment
and education. As well as highlighting police/community relations, it
examines the implications of the Scarman Report, produced in the wake of
the disturbances of 1981.

(1979-1990) and their impact on the black experience. It addresses the
issue of law and order, in particular, the Criminal Justice system,
examines the relationship between the black community and the media, and
